The Polyglots team caught my attention because it combines technology with languages. I wanted to participate in a project where my work could help WordPress users understand the platform more easily, especially those who prefer to use it in their native language.

This experience was also a challenge for me because WordPress was completely new. At the beginning, I was not familiar with its community, its translation process, or the tools used by contributors. For that reason, I had to learn each step while working on the project.

My first tasks were registering on WordPress.org, entering the Slack workspace. Little by little, I understood how to find translation projects, suggest Spanish translations, communicate with the community, and follow the guidelines used by the Polyglots team.
