For my first contribution to the WordPress Polyglots team, I worked on the translation of 67 strings from the Sydney theme. This was the first time I completed a real task inside the WordPress translation platform.
At first, I needed some time to understand how the platform worked and where I had to write each translation. However, after completing several strings, the process became easier. I learned how to identify untranslated content, write my suggestions in Spanish, and submit them for review.
This activity helped me understand the work of the Polyglots community in a more practical way. Translating the 67 strings was a good opportunity to practice, learn new terminology, and become more comfortable with the platform. It also motivated me to continue contributing and helping Spanish-speaking users understand WordPress content more easily.
