Working on the WordPress Polyglots project was a valuable experience because it allowed me to learn about a platform that was completely new to me. At the beginning, I did not know how the translation process worked, so I had to explore the tools, understand the different sections, and learn how to submit translation suggestions correctly.

As I continued working, I became more confident using the platform. I also learned that translating is not only about changing words from English to Spanish. It is important to understand the context, choose natural expressions, and keep the original meaning of each string. This helped me improve my attention to detail and my ability to make clearer translation decisions.

By the end of the project, I completed 154 translated strings, which was more than my original goal of 100. Reaching this result showed me that I was able to improve through practice and constant work. Overall, this project helped me develop new skills, understand how open-source communities collaborate, and see how small contributions can make technology more accessible to Spanish-speaking users.
